Amazon · FBA prep · Portugal
Portugal sits on the Atlantic edge of the EU — a natural entry point for ocean freight from the Americas and West Africa, and a growing domestic ecommerce market with its own Amazon.pt presence. Prep locally and you shorten the path from port to FC without routing cartons north through congested hubs.
For sellers landing stock through Lisbon, Sines, or Porto, processing inventory on the ground means quality checks and labelling happen before cartons move further into Europe — keeping lead times tight and FC intake predictable.
Container and LCL arrivals through Sines or Lisbon can flow straight into prep. You avoid an extra truck leg to a northern hub just to apply labels before sending stock back south or east.
Portuguese ecommerce is growing and Amazon.pt is an active marketplace. Holding compliant, prepped inventory locally shortens replenishment cycles for domestic listings and reduces shipping cost per unit.
Portugal and Spain share efficient road freight corridors. A single Atlantic prep node can serve both Iberian markets and feed Spanish FCs when demand patterns shift between the two.
From dock receipt to carrier collection — four controlled stages.
Step 1
Deliver cartons or pallets to our warehouse with paperwork matched to your SKU list. We confirm quantities and condition before anything is opened for prep.
Step 2
We check for damage, count variance, and barcode readability. Issues are flagged before labels go on so you do not pay to fix errors downstream.
Step 3
FNSKU application, polybagging where required, multi-pack bundling, carton build, and pallet build when the plan calls for it — all aligned to Amazon's inbound specification.
Step 4
Cartons or pallets are booked to the fulfilment centres on your shipment plan. Handover documentation matches what Amazon expects at the dock.
Everything listed is scoped per SKU and shipment so you only pay for the handling your catalogue actually needs.
Brands treating Portugal and Iberia as a core revenue lane — not an afterthought behind Central EU distribution.
Prep handles Amazon-bound units; 3PL holds sellable inventory for your own channels from the same operation. When you rebalance ASINs between FBA and D2C, stock moves without signing a second warehouse. 3PL and fulfilment in Portugal. For rate cards, see pricing.
